Meet Lily Bamberg who just completed her first year on the Auburn University Power Soccer team.

🗓️ Years Playing: 1

🔥 Favorite Position:
I play weak side wing and goalie. My favorite position to play out of both of those is weak side wing because it allows me to score awesome shots into the goal.

💬 What Inspired You to Start?
My passion for representing people with disabilities. I wanted to be able to show other people that I am able to play a sport even though I am a wheelchair-user and being a part of the Auburn University Power Soccer team allows me to do that.

🏆 Biggest Achievement:
My biggest achievement in power soccer so far is learning more about being in the disability community and getting into sports more than I ever have.

🎯 Favorite Memory:
Scoring the only goal for the third game at the Lakeshore Tournament!

💖 What She Loves Most:
Being a part of a team that loves and appreciates each other no matter what.

🌟 How Power Soccer Changed Her Life:
Power soccer has allowed me to appreciate who I am more than ever. We are all special in our own way and we each contribute our own value onto the team and life.

🎯 Goals:
To get better and play strong side really well like my teammate Kyle.

🎧 Pre-Game Pump-Up Song:
“Walking on Sunshine” ☀️

🦸‍♀️ Court Superpower:
Teleportation

📣 Advice to New Players:
Start slow. You do not have to feel like you have to drive 6.5 miles per hour in the beginning. Take your time in learning and enjoy it.

💙 “I love my team. War Eagle!” 🧡
