USPSA Scholarships and Awards

The Drew Cunningham Mentorship Program is an amateur to professional pipeline to identify disabled athletes, empower high potential talent, and catalyze international power soccer careers in the United States.

• Eligibility: Registered USPSA athletes between the age of 11 - 16 years old. The athlete must demonstrate a long-term commitment to the sport and show initiative, drive and dedication to continue pursuing a career in power soccer
• Award: The awardee will be paired with a USPNT athlete for a year-long mentorship and will be afforded unprecedented access to an official USPNT training camp.
• Application Deadline: December 19, 2025 (11:59 PDT)

The Academic All-American Award celebrates student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in their academic pursuits while actively participating in power soccer. This award honors those who successfully balance their educational responsibilities with their commitment to the sport.

• Eligibility: High school juniors, seniors, and college students who are active USPSA members with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Award Amount: $50
• Application Deadline: April 1st, 2025

The Jerry Frick Scholarship is awarded to a USPSA player who demonstrates not only outstanding athletic ability but also leadership, sportsmanship, and a dedication to the values of power soccer. Named in honor of Jerry Frick, a pioneer in the sport, this scholarship aims to support the educational goals of our most dedicated athletes.

• Eligibility: USPSA members who have participated in power soccer for at least two years and have demonstrated leadership and a commitment to the sport.
• Award Amount: The cost of 1 player and their caregiver to Power Soccer Camp
• Application Deadline: June 20th, 2025
