🎂 Age: 23

📍 Position: Winger

🎶 Go-to Pump-Up Song:

Te Juro Que Te Amo by Los Terricolas. It makes me feel like I’m playing during the Maradona years in the 80s. One thing about me: I love classic ball.

🦸 If you had a superpower on the court, what would it be?

For sure an eagle eye, so I can send nothing but beautiful passes to my teammates!

💡 What inspired you to start playing?

At first, my inspiration was Ben Carpenter. When I attended an expo around 2013, I tried the old chairs and immediately fell in love. Later, in the 2016/17 season, I joined the Tampa Bay Crossfire. I scored only three goals that season, but during my second season, I earned the First Generation Strike Force and scored over 19 goals in a single calendar season. I grew up watching Ben play alongside the stars, and I finally had the chance to play alongside him in the 2019/20 season. Sadly, he passed away during the COVID pandemic. He was a mentor to me, and to this day, I wear his armband with his name in every match I play. He was a true leader and captain.

🧭 Tell us about your position.

I currently play as a Winger its my first season playing wing in a while I played center when I took over Tampa Thunder before I transferred to the Brooks Barracudas but I love wing because of how I can explode on the side make a good run and always be in a good position to either dribble to make a play or score!

🏆 Biggest achievement in power soccer so far?

My biggest achievement was taking my Tampa Thunder team, during our first season under my leadership, with a completely new squad consisting of just Ryan Coton and two new players. These players learned quickly and we reached the Founders Cup final, where we participated in the longest Power Soccer match ever played. The match went into a golden goal, and although we unfortunately lost, what mattered most was how far the team and I had come.

📸 Favorite memory?

My favorite memory was the free kick I scored against the Hotshots during the 23/24 season at nationals. I snuck the ball in at the near post from almost half-court, finding the smallest gap. I remember rewatching the clip and hearing Peyton Seffick commentate on it. It was a lovely goal, full of class and elegance.

❤️ What do you love most about power soccer?

The connections amongst each other in teams and friends. I love how normal I feel. I don't feel like an outsider. I don't feel like I'm being stared at. I feel like an athlete and the competitiveness is like no other.

🌈 How has the sport impacted your life?

It has helped me with my leadership skills for sure. I’ve now learned how to really think things through, not just in the game, but in life. It’s helped me take a step back and really think on what I should do with certain things.

🎯 Goals in your power soccer journey?

I vow to bring home a world cup! That is not a goal, that is a promise!

💬 Advice to new players:

“Go for it, don't be scared. It can be a bit scary at first but the only way you can really know how to swim is by jumping in.”
