Conference Teams

Conference Teams represent the pinnacle of USPSA competition. Divided into four conferences—Premier, Champions, Presidents, and Founders—this system uses promotion and relegation to elevate teams based on their annual performance.

To maintain competitive standards, Conference Teams must:

Play at least 8 sanctioned games during the regular season, including two matches within or above their conference level.

Meet these requirements to qualify for post-season play in the prestigious Conference Cup Championship.

Registration Details:

Annual Team Registration Fee: $850 ($350 registration + $500 Conference Cup deposit).
Full USPSA Membership: Includes voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

Non-Conference Teams

Non-Conference Teams provide a competitive option outside the formal conference system. While they don’t adhere to the same structure as Conference Teams, they’re perfect for players looking to compete without the commitment of conference requirements.

Season Requirements:

No minimum game requirement for regular play.
Teams aiming for future conference consideration must play at least six sanctioned games during the season.

Registration Details:

Annual Team Registration Fee: $350.
Full USPSA Membership: Includes voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

Non-Conference Teams strike a balance between flexibility and competition, offering a great pathway to enter the USPSA system.

Recreational Teams

Recreational Teams are designed for those who want to enjoy the game without the pressures of sanctioned or competitive play. These teams are perfect for hosting casual programs while staying connected to the USPSA community.

No fees to register as a recreational team.
Note: Recreational Teams do not have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

Recreational Teams are a welcoming option for players and programs focused on fun, growing their team and community engagement.
