Want to become a referee?

USPSA referees help ensure that our athletes stay safe, have fun, and enjoy fair play and sportsmanship.

The primary purposes of a USPSA referee are to ensure the safety of the players, to enforce the laws of the game, and to provide an atmosphere of fair play and sportsmanship (the 'Spirit of the Game').

The USPSA has been focused on the growth of the referee program since its inception. Referees must complete a 2-day classroom training, written test and be observed on the court prior to being approved to officiate sanctioned games. Referee experience is not required; if you have a passion for the power soccer game and you want to learn the laws of the game then all you need is to get certified!

A USPSA trained referee is required for a match to be sanctioned. Referees who have been approved should be sure to register with USPSA. A listing of approved referees is available here.
